My name is Qichen You. My parents and I have lived in America for several years. China is my hometown, a place I will never forget. I have a severe personality, and I like the quiet environment very much. I feel quite disgusted by some excessive jokes. However, I will work very hard to complete it, which is responsible for their work and not to deal with casually. I will have the right attitude towards everything because for a long time I found it very important to keep the right attitude all the time. I like a quiet place, then do what I want to do, work, study and so on. A busy place will make me unable to engage in one thing seriously, and the surrounding environment affects me all the time. Hanging out with friends is another story.

My life is very plain, but occasionally a spray. I had a unique experience that our whole grade went to military training together. We learned the good habits of soldiers, and every day the hard training let us harvest a lot. It is great fun to have five or six kids in one room. This experience is very unforgettable for me. When I was in junior high school, my basketball team and I took third place in the junior high school basketball game; everyone was delighted at that time. After several years, I gradually learned how to cook. I do not know why I am interested in cooking, but I enjoy it and feel a sense of accomplishment in every meal I make. That is me.

I think my major must be in the front in the future because, with the rapid development of the world, technology has been everywhere in our life. All things are information, and my work in the field is how to better bring happiness and convenience to people through the digital way. In other words, technology leads us to progress, and my major is closely related to technology. The major of computer science is different from most other majors in that my major is updated at a fast speed and continually generates new types of work. From the very beginning of RPG games to the current VR 3D games. It has only been a few decades since the beginning of software programming to the present artificial intelligence. So the development of this plate directly led to the speed of human development. Whether it is military weapons, living environment or production factories, none of them can be adequately developed without technology. Therefore, I have high confidence in the future development of my major.

Now I am also a college student, my major is computer science, a vast field, and my career goal is to be a software designer. This is a branch of computer science. All the basics start with programming and algorithms; It is like we were born at a starting line, but you have to walk the rest of the way on your own. Just like the trunk of a tree, which can grow into many cuttings, computer science can generate many different kinds of work. I hope I can make software by myself, which is my goal now because I want to start from the simplest to slowly challenge the difficult. In the summer vacation, I researched one of my teachers for more than a month, and I also completed a simple photo recognition program. That makes me more confident to face the challenges in the future. I like to experience projects that need to be completed by a team. I think it is easy to learn new knowledge or perfect knowledge by helping each other and learning from each other.
